Caution: Commercial Licensing is separate from Amateur Licensing. The locations listed on DFW Session List DO NOT offer Commercial Operator Exams!

In 1993, the FCC established Commercial Operator License Examination Managers (COLEMs) to provide testing for Commercial Operator Licenses. National Radio Examiners(NRE) approved our team as a Test Center for the Dallas area. We offer commercial testing on request on the second Saturday of each month at 10 AM. PLEASE CALL 972-360-3541 at least 24 hours before the test date so I can arrange for the required 3 examiners. We are more than happy to test one applicant. We also can test a group or class at your company or school on other dates, call for details. -Larry Herring, TCM.

Our call-in-advance NRE test session (except *October) is held in the 2nd floor conference room of Business Jet Center, 8611 Lemmon Ave . From three flag driveway entrance, drive straight back to customer parking. Please park on the left at first opportunity. The main doors are under the canopy. Take the elevator to the second floor and turn left to the conference room. Business Jet Center is an FBO, you can fly your plane to our session ;-)

*October session- if 2nd Saturday falls on TX/OU weekend, the session will be held at an alternate location and posted on dfwlist.org.

2008 dates: June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11, November 8, December 13
A photocopy of your picture ID (usually your drivers license) is now required with your commercial application. - Your FRN or SSN is required on the application. You can register for a FRN before your first test session at https://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/coresWeb/publicHome.do . On recent FCC licenses, your FRN is printed below your address. You may safely use your SSN, with no delay, and we don't keep SSNs in our files. More Commercial Licensing Information from the FCC
